説明
“Very few or no descriptions have been found in Japan's newly-authorized history textbooks of the war crimesthat the militaristic regime committed in its overseas territories." Many times such claims and protests have beenbrought against the Japanese Goverment by its Asian neighbours during the last twenty years. “Not a single phraseexists that mentions the Korean sex slaves that accompanied the Japanese Army on its war campaigns", accusevoices within the Korean Government for example, and “Only a few lines are given for the description of the atroci-ties committed by the Japanese army in Nanking", criticize Chinese scholars. If this is true, the JapaneseGovernment is the first to blame for these lacunas of historical fact in textbooks, as the result of its textbook screen-ing policies. A more serious problem however, is that these lacunas come from amnesia on the part of the Japanesemedia as well as the Japanese people, who are traditionally credulous to their media.
