Therefore, it is thought that a method to accurately determine the difficulty level of implant treatment, especially for treatment in areas other than</p><p>their own main field, would help to provide safe and secure implant treatment.</p><p>Currently, several tools for determining the difficulty level of implant treatment have been proposed, but there are some problems that cannot be well expressed by the various classification methods that have been used so far. For example, a single tooth defect in a mandibular molar with no problems in bone quality or quantity and no occlusal problems may be considered to be an easy case, but for an inexperienced dentist, drilling the bone itself may seem difficult. Thus, whether a case is easy or difficult depends greatly on the operator's perception and experience. Apart from such kinds of technical difficulty, which is perceived differently by different operators, there is another level of difficulty based on the general condition, the treatment site, and the individuality of the patient, and so on. High-quality evidence generally shows that the success rate of implant treatment decreases when there are problems with these items.</p><p>The Research Promotion Committee of the Japanese Society of Oral Implantology is attempting to classify the difficulty level of implant treatment, which can be called an Evidence-Based Difficulty Assessment Tool, independent of the surgeon's experience. This paper presents a trial proposal.</p>"},{"@language":"ja","@value":"<p>本邦では口腔外科や補綴，歯周病のいずれかに軸足を置く歯科医師がインプラント治療を担当することが多いように思われる．そのため，特に自身がメインフィールドとする領域以外の治療において正確な難易度を判定する手法があれば，安心安全なインプラント治療を提供することができると考えられる．</p><p>現在，いくつかのインプラント治療難易度判定ツールが提案されているが，これまでに用いられてきた種々の分類法では難易度をうまく表現できない問題も存在する．たとえば，骨の質，量ともに問題なく咬合にも問題ない下顎臼歯部1歯中間欠損などはイージーケースといっても差し支えないと思われるが，一方で未経験者にとっては，骨をドリリングすること自体が難しく感じられるだろう．このように，ある症例が簡単か難しいかは，術者の感じ方や経験で大きく異なる．また，このような術者間で感じ方に差がある技術的難易度とは別個に，全身状態や治療部位，患者の個性に基づく難易度が存在する．これらの項目に問題がある場合にインプラント治療の成功率が低下することは，多くの場合質が高いエビデンスで裏づけされている．</p><p>日本口腔インプラント学会研究推進委員会では，Evidence-Based Difficulty Assessment
