Description

When juvenile dementia develops, there are many cases of retirement after the onset. It is presumed that people with juvenile dementia have difficulty in continuing to work. Difficulty in continuing to work will have a significant impact on the individual and their family, both mentally and financially. It is important to create a system that allows people to continue working with peace of mind even if they have developed juvenile dementia. Therefore, we clarified the actual situation of continuous employment support for people with juvenile dementia in companies supporting juvenile dementia. We conducted a web-based, anonymous, self-administered questionnaire survey of 450 companies in Japan. The analysis was done by chi-square test between presence of employees with dementia and other variables.
