Description
<p>By experiments using vibration stimulation to shoulder extensors (Rear deltoid,Teres major,Long head of triceps brachii,Latissimus dorsi,Infraspinatus), this paper identified the muscles involved in the illusion of shoulder joint flexion and investigated the optimal conditions for generating the illusion of shoulder joint flexion. In this study, it was found that the posterior origin of the deltoid muscle is one of the shoulder extensors most involved in the generation of the illusion of shoulder joint flexion. When vibration stimulation with an amplitude of 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm and a frequency of 60 Hz was applied to the posterior origin of the deltoid muscle, the shoulder joint flexion illusion was increased.</p>
