It is now included in the <i>Zokuzōkyō</i> 続蔵経. Many scholars have researched the Pure Rules for Chan Monasteries （<i>Chanzong</i> <i>qinggui</i> 禅宗清規）, but academic attention has seldom been devoted to the <i>Lüyuan shigui</i>. There is no research on the editions, structure and compilation of the text.</p><p>This paper elucidates three points: 1. the existing manuscripts of the <i>Lüyuan shigui</i>, 2. its structure, and 3. its compilation.
