Description

This study examines the deposition of micro-fibers, defined as particles over 5 μm in length and a ratio exceeding 3, within the respiratory tract using two drag models. Fibers with diameters of 4.785, 9.797, and 15.731 μm penetrated deeper into the lungs than spherical counterparts, with increased deposition in the nasal passage as size increased.
