共同問題解決場面での母子間相互作用を検討することを目的として,1歳10か月の子どもを持つ母子4組についてパズル課題場面における母子間のやりとりを観察した。観察データをもとに,視線・発話量・母子の身体的位置関係・身体接触などについて分析した結果,子どもが課題に集中しているか/していないか,という課題への集中度の違いのほかに,母子の相互作用は,(1)母親が積極的に課題解決に関与するか/見守ることが多いか,(2)やりとりの中心となるコミュニケーションが言語的なものか/身体的なものかに応じて4つのタイプに分類でき(積極的関与-身体的,積極的関与-言語的,見守り中心-身体的,見守り中心-言語的),このことから母子間相互作用を認知的な側面以外に身体的側面からとらえることの有効性を論じた。|In order to study how children (22-month-old toddlers) and their mothers interact when they jointly solve problems, four different pairs were observed. Based on observation data, gaze, amounts of conversational utterances , and the physical positioning and contact of mother and child were analyzed. Children's concentration level during problem solving was divided into good- and poor-concentration. Additionally, based on whether a mother proactively gets involved in problem solving or mostly observes and whether the communication that dominates the interactions is verbal or physical, the interactions between mother and child were categorized into four types: proactive involvement through either (1) verbal communication or (2) physical contact; and similarly, observation through either (3) verbal communication or (4) physical contact. Thus, this paper discusses the efficacy of understanding mother-child interactions from both the physical and the cognitive aspects.
