Through this paper, my study claims that, firstly, there are so many words that were coined by Verb-Derivational Suffix \"-Ru\". Secondly, and more importantly, there are some rules in words created by Verb -Derivational Suffix \"-Ru\" which make an enlargement of Japanese verbs. (1) Verb -Derivational Suffix \"-Ru\" changes in the same way as 5-dan verb. (2) Verb -Derivational Suffix \"-Ru\" is added to some nouns and proper nouns and has new meanings that are different from original ones. (3) Verb -Derivational Suffix \"-Ru\" is added to some loan words, onomatopoeic words and mimetic words.
