<p>Students are engaged in problem-based learning for special needs education. This paper proposes a visual support system for playing instruments in order to share musical experiences with participants. Prototype system has been developed for a traditional Indonesian music ensemble called as Angklung. The system can read a pre-created music file and create a musical score. It can color-code the musical scale to be played and present the timing of percussion. The tempo of the music can also be changed. Through the problem solving in the field, the students are able to broaden their perspectives on international and special needs.</p>
