Abstract

In order to measure the surface reactance X_s of high-T_c superconductors at microwave frequency, we propose a method using two resonant modes in a dielectric rod resonator, the TE_<012> and TE_<012> modes. This method is more accurate than the conventional method, because the temperature dependence of R_s and X_s can be measured by only one time.
