[Abstruct]One of the authors (Hiramatsu) specializes in piano, and at this college she is in charge of instrumental performances in music subjects. At the beginning of this year (2018),when there was a request from a nearby nursery school for teaching chorus to children, she felt a big confusion about it. Because she had experience as an accompaniment pianist for many years in chorus, she thought she knew whatever the chorus is. However, she has always been a pianist. When she acts as a chorus teacher, not as an accompaniment pianist, she is not sure how she can guide the children. She was aware of the fact that she could not imagine it at all. Therefore, just after receiving this request, she visited several choral groups such as adult choirs, children's choirs, and elderly choirs and set up an opportunity to see how the various leaders actually teach. Furthermore, because another co-author (Nakashima), who specializes in teaching piano as well as Hiramatsu is continuing teaching chorus as a guest teacher at a neighboring elementary school, Hiramatsu observed how Nakashima teaching elementary school children. Both authors decided to cooperate and find what the good way to teach chorus to elementary students. Hiramatsu discussed based on what she has learned through the tours and Nakashima discussed based on what she has practiced so far in her teaching. Hiramatsu expects that the result of the study will be a useful teaching material for students who enrolled in a teacher training course and in the near future, it will help the students when they conduct music activities for children in early childhood education. This paper reports the results of the collaborative research described above. There, as a desirable example, "Teachers sing with children and teachers themselves will demonstrate both good and bad examples of vocalization, singing way and expression. In addition, this paper concretely talks how the teachers and children of elementary school are greatly influenced by teaching way of the guest teacher (Nakashima). Teachers and children of elementary school are greatly influenced by teaching guest teachers. Finally, this paper shows what is necessary for class in elementary school music department.
