集団保育場面における幼児のいざこざの意義に関する一考察 : 量的・質的分析の両面から
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis of the meaning of social conflicts in infants
Conflicts of preschool children were described and classified by observing three-year-old children in free play situations. Firstly, we classified 137 episodes on the basis of how they occurred (the causes), how they ended (the closure), as well as on the basis of the strategies used by the children. Results indicated that these classifications corroborated those of previous studies and moreover, new categories of conflicts experienced by infants were identified. Secondly, we described certain episodes surrounding a particular child who was the most active?? From this episode analysis, we deliberated the internal experiences of the children and how their behavior affected the development of sociability. The significance of classifications and descriptions are discussed with consideration to social conflicts and sociability.
