Palaeozoic and Mesozoic sediments and their metamorphs are distributed along the river Omoto and are intruded by granodiorite, quartz-diorite and some hypabyssal rocks. As shown in figure 1,not a few copper deposits exist near the boundaries between the Palaeozoic formations and igneous intrusives. These deposits belong to contact metasomatic type or hypo-mesothermal fissure filling type, and the ores show the characteristics of high temperature formation. The ore minerals mainly consist of pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, pyrite and sphalerite, and they are intimately associated with one another, showing several exsolution textures, such as lattice, lamellar, band and emulsion. In the Kameyama deposit, cubanites are orientated in {111} of chalcopyrite dots in sphalerite grains due to unmixing of solid solution between them.
