Research Abstract
The present research project, using the Database of Travel Planning Task Dialogues and text corpora, extracted and classified formulaic expressions and their subcategories by scene of use, situation of use, and form of communication, and clarified specific examples of formulaic expressions linked to scenes and some of their communicative characteristics.
