Research Abstract

本研究は、計量テキスト分析とネットワーク分析という2つの手法を用いて、中東イスラーム世界で政治社会の分断がどのように、そして、なぜ促進されているのかという問題を解明することを目的とする。 具体的には、新聞や声明文などのイスラーム主義組織の刊行物、ソーシャルメディアなどのデータを、計量テキスト分析とネットワーク分析という最新の手法を用いて分析し、その結果を既存の地域研究的手法と合わせて解釈することによって、イスラーム主義組織がどのように人々を動員し、それがいかにして政治社会の分断を促進しているのかという問題を解明する。
