本研究領域では、分子レベルからオルガネラ・細胞レベルまでの定量的クロススケール計測、特に細胞内における20~500 nm程度の大きさの「メゾ複雑体」の計測も可能にすることにより、どのように生命現象や病気の起源を決定するのか？を分子レベルからオルガネラ・細胞レベルまでシームレスに解明しようとするものである。
