Research Abstract
ディベートとは、本来は議論の内容で判定が下されるべきであるが、性別や発音が判定に影響するケースもある。また英語ディベートの授業で障害のある学生向けに音声認識ツールを導入したところ、英語が苦手な学生の積極的な参加にも繋がった。 そこで、ディベーター・審判・聴衆が発言者の母語や性別、外見、障害等といった属性に影響されにくい新しいディベート方法の開発を考えた。音声認識、音声合成、自動翻訳、アバター等の導入可能なツールをディベートに取り入れることで、①あらゆる属性の人のディベートへの参加障壁を低減する方法、②審判による判定の中立性及び公平性の向上に資するディベート方法、について検討する。
