Research Abstract
百寿者の便中に特異的に存在していた二次胆汁酸の宿主への作用について受容体の同定、シグナル伝達経路の解明を行う。同時に、百寿者由来腸内細菌株を使用して、腸内細菌による新規コレステロールやステロイドホルモンの代謝経路の解明を行い、腸内細菌を用いた疾患予防法の開発および健康長寿社会の実現につなげることを目的として研究を行う。
