Research Abstract

ミクロ臓器と形容される球状の細胞組織体培養は各種評価技術や再生医療研究においてその重要性を増している。これに対して、「臓器特異的細胞外マトリックス基材」、「機能性肝組織構築技術」、「精緻な血管網を有する脱細胞化臓器鋳型」、「臓器鋳型への最適化された再細胞化技術」、「臓器培養システム」を開発し、重篤な肝不全動物の救命・治癒効果をこれまでに実証した。本研究では、「細胞の接着認識促進および酸素供給基材開発による初期細胞死の抑制技術」および「機能性細胞外マトリックスバイオインク開発による臓器の3Dバイオプリンティング技術」を開発し、臓器工学的肝臓のためのプラットフォームを構築する。
