Research Abstract

本研究では、真骨魚類をモデルとし、アンドロゲン受容体(AR)遺伝子のゲノム重複に伴う重複・新機能獲得と、形態・神経機能における二次性徴形質の多様化との関連性の解明を進める。メダカAR変異体を用いた表現型解析から、形態・神経機能におけるARパラログの機能の相違を明らかにする。それぞれのARパラログがFLAGとの融合遺伝子として発現するノックインメダカを用いて、二次性徴発現過程における発現動態を解析する。さらにChIPseq、ATACseqを用いた連鎖解析によりARパラログ特異的なアンドロゲン応答ゲノム領域、下流標的遺伝子を同定し、ARパラログ特異的な転写制御機構を明らかにする。
