Research Abstract

21世紀になり新たに提唱された人間の利他性は外集団に対する攻撃性と不可分であるとする「偏狭な利他主義仮説」は、集団内での利他行動と外集団に対する攻撃という二つの行動は共進化したと主張する。もしこの仮説が正しいのであれば、人間の利他性を引き出すような政策は、必然的に外集団に対する攻撃行動をも促進してしまうことになるため、この仮説の妥当性を検証することは、学問的意義も実社会に与える影響も極めて大きい。そこで本研究では、新たな実験ゲームを開発し、偏狭な利他主義仮説を世界ではじめて、大規模な実験室実験により厳密に検証する。
