Research Abstract

哲学者ミシェル・フーコーは、精神医療や刑罰制度を横断的に研究し、そこに3つの基礎的権力形態の、近代を通じた継起を見出している。すなわち①規律（19世紀）、②安全性の装置（19世紀末～20世紀）、③新自由主義的統治（20世紀終盤～）である。フーコーはその厳しい精神医学批判によって知られているが、それは主として①②のモデルによる分析に基づくものであった。本研究では、フーコーが充分には展開しなかった新自由主義的統治というモデルを発展させつつ、これに基づいて今日のメンタルヘルスケアシステムの全体を分析する。
