Research Abstract

フランス革命がカリブ海の当時の植民地グアドループに波及して、黒人蜂起が勃発すると、ソリチュードという女性は身重の体で参戦し、フランス軍によって捕縛され、出産の翌日に処刑された。当地において口承や歴史文献によって語り継がれたこの人物をめぐって、シュヴァルツ=バルト『混血女性ソリチュード』（1972年）等の文学作品が創作され、1999年にグアドループで、2022年にはパリで彫像が建立された。 本研究では、旧植民地の記憶の継承においてソリチュードの表象が果たした役割を解明するべく、フランス本土とカリブ海仏領との関係性や、男性優位の歴史観の問い直しといった背景を踏まえて文学作品と歴史文献を検討していく。
