Research Abstract

本研究では、南アジア原産のウリ科カラスウリ属のつる性植物で、現地では下記の最も重要な野菜の一つである「ポトル（Pointed gourd）」を材料とし、受粉や植物成長調節剤が不要で、高品質・省力生産を可能にする自動的単為結果系統の開発を行う。すでに予備的に見出している自動的単為結果系統（無授粉でも果実の肥大が認められる系統）を含む複数の収集系統を供試し、雄株、雌株を別々のガラス温室で生育させ、各系統の着果特性、すなわち、自動的単為結果性と刺激的単為結果歳の有無について明らかにする。さらに各系統間の交配により、単為結果性の遺伝様式と関連遺伝子マーカーの選抜を行う。
