Research Abstract

本研究では、SiC(0001)上のSiN薄膜を用いることで、局在電子から成るハニカム格子状の低次元量子系の実現を目指す。SiN表面上にはハニカム格子状に並んだSi原子のダングリングボンドが存在しており、SiN表面の水素終端法を確立し、STMリソグラフィと組み合わせることで、グラフェンナノリボンのような様々な低次元量子系の作製が可能だと考える。
