Research Abstract

32-30億年前に着目して南アフリカ/バーバートン帯のFig Tree層,豪州/ピルバラのDixon Island - Cleaverville層に変成度の低い連続層に焦点を当て,独自で取得した縞状鉄鉱層や有機物に富む黒色頁岩からなる遠洋性海底層のコア試料より、中太古代海洋における酸化還元作用や生態系を含めた海洋環境を復元する.34-33億年前のバーバートン帯の(BARB3)にも携わり,原生代遠洋性海底層も,ガーナ/カナダ/ブラジル/エジプトにおいて独自に得た古太古代や原生代の試料も活用し,中太古代海洋環境の変動特徴を,他の研究グループでは不可能な精度で明確にすることができる.
