Research Abstract

本研究は、日本近代都市史における学術的課題のひとつである土地所有の問題に関して、明治初頭の地租改正による土地所有の移動について、特に都市部の動向を解明することを目的とする。福岡城下町を例に明治初頭の地籍１筆１筆を網羅的に読み取り、地租改正前後の具体的実態を解き明かす。そのうえで、近世的土地所有に特徴がある他の都市と比較考察することで、明治初頭の地租改正による土地所有の移動について総合的に解明し解釈する。
