Research Abstract
本研究では歯科健診を受診した後期高齢者約500名を対象として、ストレスの主観的評価に限らず、客観的評価として唾液・爪のコルチゾールを測定し、追跡期間中に口腔状態が改善、もしくは悪化した者でストレスの変化に違いが見られるかを縦断的に検討する。このことにより、高齢者の口腔の健康の維持は口腔や全身の疾患を予防するだけでなく、精神的健康の維持にも有用であり、ひいては高齢者のQOLの向上に寄与する根拠を示すことができると考える。
