Research Abstract
心電図は不整脈の診断において必須の検査であり、さらに電気活動の変化に基づき心臓の器質的・形態学的異常を推定することにより、不整脈以外の心疾患全般の診断においても有用である。しかし、心電図所見を用いてこれらの心疾患の発症を未然に予測することが可能かどうかという点においては、十分解明されているとはいえない。 本研究では、福岡県久山町における長期にわたる疫学調査の成績を用いて、心電図指標が心房細動および虚血性心疾患の発症に及ぼす影響について明らかにする。さらに、心疾患との連関が想定される他の臓器障害（脳卒中、認知症、高血圧、慢性腎臓病など）の発症や死亡に及ぼす種々の心電図指標の影響についても検討する。
