Research Abstract

本研究は、日本の大学における学業継続および退学予測モデルを構築、検証することで、標準修業年限内卒業率の改善あるいは学生介入プログラムの構築に寄与する知見を抽出することを目的とする。そのために米国における学業継続や退学予測に関する理論の鍵となる「統合」概念を、日本の高等教育の文脈を踏まえて再整理して学業継続および退学予測モデルを組みなおす。また構築された予測モデルはその検証に多くのデータを必要とするため、データ収集・分析基盤の提示と運用についても明らかにするものである。
