Research Abstract

森林の代表的な林床植生でありアーバスキュラー菌根(AM)タイプのササに着目し、外生菌根(ECM)菌タイプの樹種が優占する森林におけるササの存在量の違いが土壌窒素動態と土壌微生物・土壌動物の群集構造や存在量に及ぼす影響を明らかにする。土壌中の無機窒素量や生成速度、土壌中の真菌、細菌・古細菌の群集構造と窒素循環に関わる機能遺伝子群量の評価、植物の窒素吸収の定量的な評価を行い、林床植生の存在が森林の窒素動態メカニズムに及ぼす影響の統合的な解明を目指す。
