通所介護は、在宅認知症患者を支える上で重要な役割を果たしている。 認知症患者はBPSDとして、介助者に暴力をふるうことが少なくない。認知症患者の暴力は、通所介護の利用を困難にするため、在宅での生活を継続できずに、施設や入院につながっている。
