Research Abstract

くも膜下出血（SAH）後の早期脳損傷（Early Brain Injury: EBI）は患者の予後を大きく左右する重要な病態であり、特に血液脳関門（Blood-Brain Barrier: BBB）の破綻が中心的な役割を果たしている。本研究は、BBB破綻の主な原因となるmatrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9)とそれに関連するmicroRNA (miRNA)に着目し、EBIにおけるBBB破綻のメカニズムを解明するとともに、新規治療法の開発を目指す革新的な試みである。
