Abstract

There are several types of relative clauses used in Hawaiian. In some types, a relative clause contains a third person pronouns used in three types of relative clauses, focusing on the number agreement. Although each of the Hawaiian third person pronouns has a singular form, a dual form, and a plural form, the singular form is extensively used regardless of the number of the modified noun.
