Description

Observation of the crustal movement has been performed by use of high sensitive extensometersat Kishu Mine from 1961. According to this observation, the crustal contractions have becomesmaller and smaller recently.The anomalous crustal deformation has been observed before and after the earthquakes onNovember 25, 1973.The afterworking of the crustal strain after these earthquakes is interpreted by the existenceof low plastic material within the crust.
