Description

Case 1. A 7-year-old girl with a chief complaint of incontinence was reported. Urclogical studies disclosed a unilateral duplication of pelvis and ureter with opening of the accessory ureter ectopically into the vaginal vestibulum. The right heminephrectomy was performed with uneventful recovery. Case 2. A 30-year-old m an who has visited at our clinic with a chief complaint of pyuria of unknown cause was reported. Urological studies disclosed a right hypoplastic kidney and ureter with opening ectopically into the ejaculatory duct, and ectasic dilatation was found at distal er.d of this ureter. The hypoplastic kidney, ureter, seminal vesicle and ejaculatory duct were surgically removed. Histological examination revealed numerous cysts, tubuli and round cell infiltration in the hypoplastic kidney, but no glomerulus was found, and a slight cell infiltration in the seminal vesicle and ureter. The statistical investigation of 81 cases having been reporte d in our country was made, and it was noted that our case was the third case of male ectopic ureteral orifices and the first case of opening into ejaculatory duct in Japan.
