The equation describing the landform development has the form of (1) provided that the transportational laws and continuity condition of the earth material moving on a slope are taken into account. The exact solution of Eq.(1) was obtained here analytically and the result was compared with the solution of (2) which is a sort of approximate expression of Eq.(1). The result shows that the solution of Eq.(2) with the coefficent a chosen suitahlly annrovimates very well the develonmental nrocess of interfluvial slopes described by Eq.(1). ……
