The main aim of this paper is to introduce a newly-developed comupter program 'T-Scope version 2.0', an original VBA (Visual Basic for Application) program, which runs on Microsoft Excel. T-Scope, first developed in 2009, was designed as a quntifying tool for conducting & quantitative metaphor analysis in corpus linguistics. In this paper, an important 'Scope & Step' concept, applied in T-Scope, is explained. Detailed features of T-Scope 2.0 will also be explored with some actual demonstrations. While referring to the advantages, developments and future perspectives of the progaram, the significance of T-Scope in critical metaphor research in emphasized, especially for quantitative 'Mental Distance' analysis in business speech communication.
