Abstract

口永良部島における衛生害虫の分布調査を２００９年５月に実施した。人家周辺の水が溜まった容器から蚊の幼虫の採集、集落を流れる金ヶ迫川の急流部でブユ幼虫の採集、そして集落周辺の道路沿いおよび林内でダニの採集を行った。採集された衛生害虫は以下の通りであった。採集された蚊はキンパラナガハシカ（Tripteroides bambusa）、ヤマトヤブカ（Aedes japonicas amamiensis）、トウゴウヤブカ（Aedes togoi）、サキジロカクイカ（Lutzia fuscanus）またはトラフカクイカ（Lutzia halifaxii）（幼虫では両種の区別が出来ない）およびヤマトクシヒゲカ（Culex sasai）５種類であった。ブユはアシマダラブユ（Simulium japonicum）とウチダツノマユブユ（Simulium uchidai）の２種であった。ダニはフタトゲチマダニ（Harmophysalis longicornis）１種のみが採集された。

The survey of medical insects and arachnids on Kuchinoerabu Island,Yakushima Town, Kagoshima Prefecture, were carried out in May 2009. Mosquitolarvae collected from various domestic water containers, blackfly larvae were collectedfrom the stream of Kanagasako River, and ticks were collected in the surroundingforest. The collected pests were as follows. Five species of mosquito larvae: Tripteroidesbambusa, Aedes japonicas amamiensis, Aedes togoi, Lutzia fuscanus or Lutzia halifaxii (itis not possible to distinguish by the larva.) and Culex sasai. Two species of blackflylarvae were collected: Simulium japonicum and Simulium uchidai. Only one species of tickwas collected: Harmophysalis longicornis.
