説明

[概要]　IS-LMモデルはケインズの『一般理論』を伝統的経済学の手法で再構築したものである。消費関数, 投資需要関数および貨幣需要関数にケインズが着目した。これらの要因を一般均衡理論に組み入れて, モデルが作られた。政府の財政政策また金融政策の効果が容易に示されるので, IS-LM曲線がマクロ経済学のテキストで中心的な役割を果たすことになった。ここではまず外生変数の変化がIS 曲線およびLM曲線にどのようなシフトをもたらすかを示す。さらにこれら外生変数の変化が内生変数に及ぼす効果を取り上げる。最後にIS-LMモデルは便利な分析道具として定着したが, ケインズの方法論から舵を切って, ケインズが批判した新古典派の一般均衡理論へ向かうものであったことを論じる。 [Abstract] The IS-LM model is the reconstruction of The General Theory written by Keynes under the influence of traditional economics. Here we investigate the effects of the change in exogenous variables on the IS curve and LM curve. Then the changes of these variables bring about the changes in endogenous variables. They are traced on the IS-LM diagram. Finally attention will be paid that the essential discrepancies exist between the Keynes' method and the general equilibrium economics.
