人間の日常行動や,運動を含めた認知過程を全体的に理解するためには,基本的なある実体の概念が必要である.その実体は,脳の中において,上記の諸活動についての共通の機能的役割を担うものである.「スキーマ」は,70年代に導入されたが,その一般化概念(拡張スキーマ)が人間の行動や認知に関する脳神経科学と心理学の間の理解の広い谷を橋渡しする可能性を持つ候補と考える.

To understand behavior and cognitive processes of human, totally, including motor activities, we need a fundamental concept of entities which have common functional role in the human brain for the above activities. Extension of the schema, while the schema was introduced in 70' of the last century, is such a candidate which could bridge the wide gap between the neuroscience and psychological interpretations of the human behavior.
