抄録

The modern economy is characterized by the growth of information and services. However, this trend has not been understood in economics as a whole. In this paper, preliminary discussions are presented for approaching the issue. They include a study on the recent revision of the industry classification standard, a historical examination of the economic status of software, and a critical consideration of the arguments concerning service theories.

現代経済を特徴づけるのは，経済のサービス化と情報化である．だがこのトレンドを総体としてどう理解するか，未だ十分に解明されていない．本稿はこの問題にアプローチするための考察のステップである．具体的には産業分類の改訂の分析， ソフトウェアの経済的位置の変遷，サービス論論争の批判的検討がふくまれている．
