抄録

The voyages of European countries starting from the 15th and 16th centuries have greatly accelerated the worldwide fusion of different cultures. As the Western geographical knowledge was introduced, the traditional worldview has been gradually taken place of modern worldview. World, being a key concept in modern worldview, was first corresponded to Mundus in Japan in religious context. World in Japan first went beyond the religious context and then formed its spatial meaning in the geographical scope. Afterwards, along with the deepening of understanding the West and Japan itself, World in Japan gradually completed its construction of meaning in psychology and political order. This article is to analyze the establishment of World-the key target language in modern worldview and the formation of its meaning, so as to discuss the interactive relationship of ideologies and cultures of the West, China and Japan during the transition of the concept from the old to the new.
