Abstract

This research note is a case study about the logistics cluster in Zhengzhou, China. In addition to a detailed description of the construction of the railway container station, construction of logistics parks, the creation and establishment of core transportation services, and development of the logistics innovation, we consider the relationship with the logistics innovation and the core transportation services, logistics innovation and logistics cluster formation. Another focus of this note is set on a unique feature of the logistics cluster in Zhengzhou, which has two transport nodes, a railway container center station and an airport. We also discuss the effects of the features on the development of logistics cluster.
