Description

In present-day image products, there is no product without camera-work. That is, it is safe to say that there is no product without moving a camera. Then, what is the camera movement for and what kind of effect does it aim to produce? In this paper, I will explain about "moving shots (including pan)" based on some scenes from actually released foreign movies. Furthermore, I will specifically verify and analyze a movie "Tales of the Unusual, Special episode in film・marriage simulator" (Toho Movie Distributing Agency released in 2000) which I directed as the subject.
