Description

Generally, it can be observed that water management system for paddy field in urbanized region steps is becoming disintegrated. This process can be divided into two steps; self-adjustment step and abandonment step of water use. This report especially discusses the structure of the self-adjustment step by the results of investigation. Brief contents of this report are as follows ; 1. Subsidy by local administration to a given section of village helps to keep up water management system. However, there is possibility of disintegration in the case of complete dependence on the local public entity. 2. Persons who are self-employed and doing farming on the side mainly support water management in urbanized region. In return for taking charge of water management, they gather of customer in the village. 3. Accumlation of land improvement bring about of decreasing labor use for water management and prevents physical damage that urbanization had brought about.
