Primitive Pythagorean triples (pPT's) are known to be represented by the topological indices Z's of caterpillar graphs of mirror symmetry. Algorithms for generating these caterpillar graphs are presented with the list of all the pPT's whose hypotenuse is smaller than 1000, together with the relevant caterpillar graphs. Relevant number theoretic discussion including the continuant proposed by Euler is also given.
