Abstract

It is important for studing a variety of local language and dialect to show linguistic maps. Besides to this. it is more effective to make inquiries for students about local language and to show results during school hours. We propose a Web-Based questionnaire sytem about language which can be answered by PC and a cellular phone. The system is constructed by JavaScript, PHP and Google Maps API for drawing linguistic maps. It can toal answers and draw language maps immediately. Trial was success except several model of FOMA cannot display questionnaire. We are now reconstructing the system to use database for control data, to make a map size chages with window size which map is contained and so on.
