It is an important task for kindergarten teachers to understand the meaning of "educational design" practice "play-oriented education". This study aimed to discuss teachers' sense of planning or sense of child care and education in terms of emotional expressions, focusing on the word of "TANOSHIMU (to enjoy)" in the description of the aim of child care and education. It was shown that the expression of``TANOSHIMU" was frequently used for the description of the aim. It was indicated there were some possibilities that the connotation of "TANOSHIMU" might turn to be vulgarization, and that it was closely related to guarantee of children's voluntariness. In addition, the vulgarization of child care and education led by emotional expressions cast shadows on the guarantee of quality of child care and education amid a pile of various activities for the sake of parents.
