抄録

The authors conducted the questionnaire survey for junior high school teachers in Akita prefecture to discover the situation of instruction in observation activities in astronomy education. The authors conclude as follows: i) most of teachers instruct motion of stars and Venus utilizing the model of solar system, hence observation activities to recognize motion of celestial bodies are rarely instructed, ii) most of teachers encountered some difficulties in astronomy lesson, iii) the grounds of those difficulties are that the teachers can not instruct observation of the stars and Venus at night for long time and the students have less special perception, and iv) some issues of astronomical education mentioned in the 1985 research report may have not been resolved.
